Great Glass Pumpkin Patch
Palo Alto’s beloved 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 returns on Saturday, September 30th, and Sunday, October 1st! The 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 event will showcase more than 10,000 unique glass pumpkins and autumnal keepsakes crafted by 18 local-area glass artists, all available for purchase.

Open Studio Artist Residency & Artist Talk
James Akers & Meryl Pataky
Neon Artists, James Akers and Meryl Pataky will be using the BAGI studio to explore and develop their work. This is a great opportunity for our community to come by the studio and say hi, ask questions, and watch them work. The open studio visiting hours are listed below:

Join us for the Clay and Glass Festival in Palo Alto!
We will have a table set up on both Saturday and Sunday, July 15th and 16th, come by and say hello! We will be handing out flyers and other information about our organization. Talk to one of our staff and artists to learn what we are all about. This event is FREE and open to the public. Enjoy the festival with us and all the other talented artists.
Community Night with Cedric Mitchell
Demonstration, artist talk, and gallery show
Friday June 23rd from 7pm-9pm
The Bay Area Glass Institute will be hosting an event celebrating Cedric Mitchell’s work. There will be a gallery reception with Mitchell’s artworks for sale with a brief artist talk, followed by a demonstration in the hotshop. All are welcome to attend this free community event at Bay Area Glass Institute.
Silicon Valley Open Studio!
BAGI is participating in this year’s Silicon Valley Open Studios! We are highlighting one of our artists, educators, and staff, Jeanette Hartley. So please come join us to show your support! We will be at the BAGI studio both Saturday and Sunday, May 20th and 21st from 11 am until 5 pm. We will also have a drop-in fuse activity for those who want to play with glass. the Activity is $10 per person; all 8 yrs and older are welcome to participate!

The 24th Annual Great Glass Pumpkin Patch
The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch at the Palo Alto Art Center returns for its 24th consecutive year as the largest glass pumpkin patch of its kind in Northern California, September 26th and 27th, with more than 10,000 one-of-a-kind glass pumpkins, glass-blowing demonstrations, refreshments, and more. Proceeds of the sale benefit the participating artists, and three local arts nonprofits: Bay Area Glass Institute, Palo Alto Art Center, and Palo Alto Art Center Foundation.
5th Annual Pumpkin Patch at Santana RowJoin us for the 4th annual patch at Santana Row and experience the MAGIC of glass! Stroll through thousands of hand-blown glass pumpkins crafted by BAGI artists and renowned glass artisans from around the country. They are perfect for your fall decorations, and make for beautiful display pieces year-round.
Delight in an assortment of colors and sizes with prices to fit every budget. Pumpkins also make unique gifts for family and friends. This is a once-a-year event, so come early and find the perfect glass pumpkin.
This special event will take place at Santana Row Park, across from Left Bank Brasserie.
