Part Time Fusing Instructor
Bay Area Glass Institute is looking for an experienced Fusing Instructor to join our team in San Jose, Northern California. We are looking for someone excited to teach a range of beginner to intermediate and advanced fusing classes.
If you have 2+ years experience in the fusing studio and 4+ years experience with teaching then please reach out. This is an hourly position with room to grow and support you with your own practice. The job hours and compensation depend on experience but would range from 15-30 hours a week and $30-35 an hr. Staff members at BAGI receive discounted studio access.
BAGI is located in History Park near downtown San Jose and has a hotshop, flameworking, fusing, and coldshop in a 6,000 sqft building. Our team is warm and welcoming! We are growing and hoping to add new team members that support our vision to bring glass experiences to the public.

Educate
We strive to bring to BAGI diverse glass educational programming that invites glass artists from all over the world to teach their working processes and share their passion for glass with our community.
Already have a class that you want to teach at BAGI? Fill out our Class Proposal Application. These Class Proposals will be reviewed twice a year. You will hear back from us within a 6 month time period. If you are not a current employee at BAGI you will be compensated as an independent contractor.
