Soft Glass Flameworking

Soft glass, also known as soda lime glass is not soft at all. The term is used to distinguish it from borosilicate which is harder glass and takes more heat to melt. Soft glass has been used for bead making and small sculptures for 4000 years. At BAGI we offer a variety of soft glass flameworking classes using a wide array of glass colors in opaque and tinted transparent glass. Students have a hands on experience melting glass with a torch into beads and other pleasing shapes as they progress.
