Parking

  • Once you turn onto Phelan Ave. from Senter Rd. pass the main entrance to History Park and take your 2nd left off Phelan Ave. Look for the BAGI sign on the White fence.  You may park for free in this lot.
  • See your reservation confirmation email for gate code

Private Event Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made at 7 days prior to the event will receive a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations made 6-3 days prior to the event will be issued a 50% refund.
  • Rescheduling 6-3 days cancellation will incur a $50 rebooking fee.
  • No refunds will be given with less than 72 hours’ notice of cancellation.
  • No refunds for no shows.
  • If BAGI were to cancel an event, a full refund for the event will be issued.

All Classes Cancellation Policy (*Classes purchased from BAGI)

  • Cancellations made at 5 days prior to the first day of a class will receive a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations made 4-2 days prior to the first day of class will be issued a 50% refund.
  • No refunds will be given with less than 72 hours’ notice of cancellation.
  • No refunds for no shows.
  • If BAGI were to cancel a class(es), a full refund for the class(es) will be issued.

Liability

  • Sign Liability Waiver
  • Students 12 and under require a parent or legal guardian to attend class with them.
  • Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a BAGI issued liability release form.
  • Participants must inform BAGI, at the time of registration, if they have special requirements due to health-related conditions.
  • Participants must inform BAGI at the time of registration, if attendees with disabilities need accommodations.
  • We cannot guarantee perfect results in shape, color, etc. and will not replace serviceable items. However, we will not release an item we deem unsafe and reserve the right to repair and/or remake and substitute items.

How to Prepare

  • Arrive on time for your class.  We recommend that you arrive a few minutes early, and if you are more than 15 minutes late, you need to reschedule.
  • One of our sustainability initiatives is a water purification foundation in our studio.
  • Please remember to bring your water bottles to help us in our efforts to consume less plastic.
  • For all classes you should wear closed-toe shoes (no heels or flip flops, etc.) Long hair must be tied back.
  • For all classes you should also wear a cotton shirt (long sleeve may be preferable if weather is not hot) and cotton pants.

 Picking Up Your Glass

  • All glass work will be ready for pick up one week after your class unless otherwise notified. You will NOT be notified when your work is ready for pick up. Pick Up Hours are Weekends 10am-4pm. Work will be bagged and labeled with date, your name, and what you made. All work will be on the pick-up shelves at the front entrance.

Food and Drink

  • You are welcome to cater outside food/drink into the studio.  We just ask that no one drink alcohol before they play with the hot glass*.  We do provide water.
  • If you are planning to cater your event, please let us know so that we can set up tables and chairs for your guests. We also have a courtyard with picnic tables when the weather is suitable.

Health and Safety Cancellations

  • If the air quality is 150+ classes will be canceled for the health and safety of our guests and staff. *We retain the right to limit activities of anyone that we deem unsafe to participate due to inebriation or other factors.

Most importantly, come ready to have fun and experience glass!

Social Distancing & Covid

BAGI is known for generously sharing the magic and fun of making glass art and we are committed to providing a safe environment for our customers and staff. We have worked diligently to identify and implement social distancing protocols that achieve enjoyment and safety.

If you are sick, please stay home. Call the studio at 408 993 2244 if you are unable to make class/event due to illness.

If you test positive as result of taking a class/event at BAGI, please call us as soon as possible and we will begin contact tracing.

Pre-class Preparation

  • Please bring your own mask if you wish to wear one.
  • We suggest that you wear a mask during spikes in transmission.
  • You are welcome to bring your own protective eyewear.

When you arrive

  • You will sign our digital waiver.
  • You will be given disinfected protective eyewear if you did not bring eyewear. (Flameworking students will be issued special glasses for the torch)

During Class

  • We provide eyewear and other safety equipment to help protect you for the duration of your visit.
  • You will find hand sanitizer in several locations for your convenience.

Pickup             

  • Your glass work won’t be available to take home on the day of your class.  All projects need to be annealed or fired, then wrapped, bagged, and labeled with date, your name, and what you made.
  • Your glass work will be ready for pick up one week after your class, unless otherwise notified.
